About Me

My name is Jacob Chu and I am a Purdue University senior working towards a B.A. in Communication with concentrations in Public Relations and Strategic Communication and Media and Mass Communication, and minors in Creative Writing and Management. My academic experience has been well complemented by practical exposure in communication, public relations and marketing. My experience in the multifaceted field of communication has turned into a passion for learning and collaboration. I recently finished my work as a Multimedia Marketing and Communication Intern at Vaisala, where through their Giant Leap program I was my own project manager, creating video segments for sales enablement and other marketing needs. Currently, I am interning at the Center for C-SPAN Scholarship & Engagement at Purdue University as a C-SPAN Marketing and Publicity Intern. As a student at Purdue I am part of the Safety and Risk Management Authority and the Kappa Sigma fraternity, where I have held various leadership roles including Risk Management Chair.
